As the history of CSD Architects concludes we have been honored to help shape our community for sixty-two years. We are proud of our heritage of design excellence, social responsibility and respect for the environment begun by Alex Cochran, Jim Stephenson and Dick Donkervoet, and maintained by more than six hundred employees over the life of the firm. We humbly acknowledge the role CSD has played in the history of architecture in the City of Baltimore and across the country.

We are deeply grateful to our clients for having faith in us to realize their dreams, to our consultants who supported us then and now, and to our fellow architects whose partnership galvanized our resolve to enhance the built environment.

Although CSD has come to an end, for all of us who believe design enhances life, the work goes on, the cause endures, and we are sustained through the dreams of our clients.
